In December 0000, I ordered the Thermos Mug for both my wife and myself. The reason to decide for the same brand and not for one of the many other brands was that I had already had experience with Thermos's pans and was very satisfied with it.

The mug is beautifully designed, fits perfectly in my very big hands (since it is conical shaped, my wife also copes well with small hands) and does what it should primarily do, namely keep drinks very hot for a very long time. He also holds tight. So far so good, but...

- If you want to pour your drink into a cup so that it cools down faster, this is not possible via the spout without spilling. The lid must be unscrewed completely.

- The Open/Closed lettering on the lid is very delicate and wears off completely after a relatively short time. Since the haptic when closing the lid is not clear, you have to be very meticulous and equipped with good eyesight check whether the cup is properly closed.

- After a year of relatively regular use, the lid could not be loosened this morning to my trouble. He just spins. Externally no defect can be detected, I suppose there has been a bonding inside the lid. Thus, not even a new lid would help.

Conclusion: All in all a nice coffee mug which I would have liked to use despite some weaknesses, especially since it looks very good as I find. Possibly I also had just bad luck and a “Monday model”. Nevertheless, defective after not even a year in use is unacceptable for this brand and the price. I will ask Amazon forexchange, should the same be granted, sponge over it, if not it was a wrong purchase. You will see...

And so it went on... Gone into the chat with Amazon, problem described, after 0 min were free (!!!) Replacement and a returns label approved! More is not possible, the service at Amazon is now almost unrivalled, and this is what someone who generally likes to buy regionally. But what was is true; -) Thank you Amazon!
